try the scene release, clean rom with no trimming, thats how mine worked

I updated my R4i Gold firmware to the 1.37 released on the 13th, and it still loops the intro.

 

I updated to 1.8 .. but it still looped. Set 'bypass piracy' to enable... and it worked. Thanks man.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Can't play it yet, though. Formatting and replacing my backup files takes waaaaaaaaaay too long(about 20 hours, when WinRAR is nice) on stupid Kingston cards.

 

I have two of these, mine and the son, also a dstt my daughter has. I am now resigned to the fact it is time to bite the bullet and get original R4's. Am looking to buy them on Wednesday/Thursday.....payday. Then I can run Wood and solve the issues.
