Super Scribblenauts AP Topic

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with an R4-III, the firmware for which hasn't been updated in over a year.

Naturally, I can't get SS running. Using the standard firmware or YSMenu, it simply fails to load (on YSMenu it's errcode 4, on standard just white screens). So I downloaded Wood R4 v.1.14.2. When I tried just copying over the files, the card stuck on "Loading…", so I reinstalled the regular firmware and converted Wood R4 to an .nds with r4crypt. It loads the menu fine, but upon launching SS it goes right into the endless loop instead of actually working.

Should I just buy a real card?

Yeah it totally works. I didn't realize that I had to turn on the "bypass anti piracy" in the system properties. I am playing it as we speak.

 

I can also confirm it works on AKAIO 1.8

It doesn't matter what ROM you use. You should tap the ROM on your Ds and then select "Start" -> Properties -> Bypass Anti-piracy (enable this).

Then you should be able to play this game!!

I just made a pregnant boy, and a baby ninja. I carried the baby ninja and killed the boy who just gave birth. Also killed the freak baby that came from who knows where from his mama/papa.

I used to be just like you. But R4 clones are starting to get WOOD compatibility, right? Just when I switched over.
