right for the noobs saying to put ysmenu on.
ysmenu as a firmware replacement works only on original r4's,
only a .nds firmware works on clones.
so the original firmware is needed
r4 sdhc is better than most cards as it takes cards bigger than 2gb
oh and r4 wood is completely pointless, stick with ysmenu.
yasu is unlikely to stop anytime soon.
    unlike wood which is amatuerish.
a year from now wood will be redundant, and a firmware that everyone can use will be published, (basically containing all the latest firmwares and loaders etc.. for every card)

    Troll post, BUTTTTTT.....

YSMenu may only work as a replacement, but if they are interested, they would probably ask how.

R4 SDHC is just another R4 clone and is far from the best cart out there, many carts can hold well over 2gb. Original R4 is pretty much the only exception that is still being used at this point.

Yasu quit making YSMenu already because people were distributing pre-made YSMenus. The latest updates for YSMenu were made by individuals, NOT Yasu. YSMenu hasn't gotten an official update for over a year now, I highly doubt Yasu is just going to have a change of heart and grant us the gift of a super firmware for the R4.

Wood so far is the best firmware made for the R4. Better compatibility, presentation, and overall has very few issues. The creator of this firmware very well knew what they were doing and this is far from amateurish.

There will NEVER be a universal firmware. There are far too many differences in the making of each card and how they operate, it is not even a possibility.
