Starter Pokemon Type

For starter I usually use the fire type pokemon.

 

but Johto starter are the cutest looking... i mean they have chikorita XD

 

Exactly why I don't think it'll be done.
And if it will change, there are three other type 'rock-paper-scissors' to be chosen from (as far as I know).
By that, I mean one type resists one other, and is weak to the remaining.

Fighting, Flying, Rock
Ground, Poison, Grass
Rock, Steel, Fire

 

I would always choose water type pokemon as my starter

 

yah, when i was playing sapphire a week ago i ditched it. but when i started platinum i decided to use my turtwig through the whole game just 'cause it was cute and i've never raised one lol.
