Stargate wins out of both of them But as this is Star Wars vs Star Trek, i will go with Star Wars. Star Trek is just moral dilema after moral dilema, and just too care-bearey (if that's even a word...)
I grew up watching the Star Wars movies, and when I tried to watch Star Trek, I just kept comparing Wookies to Klingons, C3-P0 to Data, and Yoda to Spock... Sorry, I just couldn't watch it...
Never seen star trek. But from what i hear its pretty good. Ive seen the 1st star wars but it wasent all that good. prefer action movies like james bond/ crank
By first star wars, do you mean Episode I or Episode IV... since IV came out almost 20+ years before I
By just seeing this picture, i go with Star wars better than star trek. WTF, is that guy blowing at the storm troopers? and is that a remote control the girl is pressing? Those are clones, not droids so the remote control will not work. lol
It's not a remote control, its a tricorder. It will tell her what the enemies are, what they're made of and what their weaknesses are.
In a galactic battle, and even in ground warfare, the Star War series in my opinion has more cooler weaponry and war ships/transports than Star Trek.
you very rarely see a full scale battle in star trek. Try the dominion wars in DS:9 or Voyager: endgame to see a proper space battle fleet in the star trek universe.
After seeing pictures of dominion wars and Voyager endgame... My view has been more clearer that Star Wars kicks ass. George Lucas has his money spent well on Star Wars. But it intrigue me to watch Star Trek and all its movies.
I think Star Wars lost "it's luster" (lustre?) with The Return of the Jedi; it completely disapeared with The Phantom Menace (although i was too young to realise these things upon original viewing, i actually quite liked TPM when i was 8-9 or however old i was; but whatever, most kids are stupid so i don't feel so bad about that (childish lack of cynicism and enjoyment of flashy stuff that 'splodes FTW). POST MODIFY Picard era Startrek was thought provoking and way better than all the great Star Wars moments put together IMO
when you watch star trek, it has this gulliver's travel feel to it. an exploration of space, an adventure to the unknown. but in star wars, you don't really get this type of vibe. i like star trek because it has a richer context of the adventures that they undergo.
aw bollocks. my favourite films/series/animation/story of all time has just been ruined! cheers george http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/415394/
