I wish I could vote for Trump. It's about time a politician publically announced just how big of a threat muslims are to civilised society.
I'll get my bachelors degree in biology later this year, but I'm still kind of lost what kind of master I want :/ I do want something with conservation, evolution and behavior.
Do you need a masters? Often a masters degree will actually restrict your career prospects because you become 'overqualified' for a lot of positions and you end up having to work in academia (either teaching or research).
Because of the wage hike the goverment recently imposed on companies in my country, more and more businesses are seeking minimum master degree holders for that wage range. Bachelor degree and lower are losing out, as today's minimum wage was yesterday's master degree wage anyway. Income wise nothing change, except that now companies are too reluctant to hire lower than master education employees for that amount. Regardless how high one's education is, it doesn't guarantee them work qualified, work experience should have been the barometer.
For teaching I have to study further anyway, and for research the same. Biology is such a broad study, I had a little bit of everything and now I want to specialize. Almost everyone goes for a master afterwards.
