Soooo, Samsung Galaxy S Advance or Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus?

Never heard of the S Advance, but if the S is good, Advance must be better,
and the Ace Plus should be better, I think. My uncle had one of them before he switched to SIII 2 weeks ago.

 

I don't know about this advanced and plus stuff, but the Galaxy S was definitely better than the Galaxy Ace.

 

I highly suggest avoiding the Galaxy series or any Samsung device if you plan on rooting and/or installing custom ROMs on it.

 

Oh well, if the Advance is to expensive I'll just go for the Ace.

I'm not much of a Galaxy Expert, so I don't know the answer to that.

 

May I ask you why?
My galaxy is perfectly rooted and modded to my wishes.

 

If there is anything that you should avoid because of lack of customization, it would be the iPhone. I love my iPhone, but I am going to admit that the iPhone is never truly "yours" until you jailbreak and do all the illegal stuff that would otherwise be legal on an Android

I was just planning to throw an emulator on it from the Android Store and play ROM's.

 

Samsung has a tendency of fucking up their firmwares. A prime example being the eMMc bug that Samsung forgot to remove when they released their ICS firmwares months ago. What happens is whenever someone would try to format their phone (factory reset), sometimes the faulty firmware would cause the eMMc partition to fuck up and brick the device permanently; the only way to fix it would be to replace the motherboard.

 

That doesn't even require rooting.

 

Then that's fine, though last I recall you can't find free emulators on the Play Store. I suggest googling NESoid or the equivalent such as GameBoid or Ataroid.

 

there is another brand starting with H cant remember now though.i am not sure about playing games on a phone though

 

How to download free applications that disappeared from the market or cost money

1) Go to Google
2) Search: app name + apk

Overpriced phones, you pay more for their looks.

I dunno about that, but the Android market has some, and you can install that on a Samsung.
