long story short, my mom bitches till i get my hair cut short(er), but i can get away w/ a bit below what she wants, and pests me the same as a little sister would before i finally do get it cut. but, i tell her idk where a barber is near college (gee, not a lie at all. some female friends cut hair decently, and theres even a barber in the KOP mall), and she settles down. as for the clothes, pretty much the extent of her control is just when i need to dress up more than i normally would. yes, even since kindergarten. my grandma would take my sisters and me shopping for school clothes, and we could each get what we wanted to fit our own styles

if anyone is good w/ free movie editing programs, plz go here and help me out

Bitch please. at least you got to wear clothes that fit your own style. I had to get in a full argument with my mother because every shopping trip was filled with "but this is what the others are wearing, its in style.". mind you i was fighting just to wear black. shes a nightmare -_-

Also college is the last time you'll get to have fun with your hair, as a male, before becoming an adult. If you want to have a job later in life you will need bland-looking short hair so kindly explain to your mom that your college years are yours are plunder the resources of youth. Go full hippy with it, man. Paint it green.

You have some wiggle room for sure, but you can't look like you're auditioning for Steely fucking Dan at a job interview (edit: I guess it depends on the job). My hair is pretty long (I can eat the tips of my bangs when I let them drop) but I still have to get haircuts for my job nonetheless.

 

hell, one of the things that i like about college is i dont have my mom nagging me about my hair, so i was FINALLY able to start growing it out. the most i got at college was one of my friends saying that if i grow it out, i should really use conditioner cuz i was told i was starting to get dead ends.


and FUCK!!!!!! i might not be able to do the metal cookies tonight because my parents would most likely disown me if i would swear like that. i mean, clearly i dont give a fuck if i was all 'ooh, i wanna make the cookies, and i wanna try and make a close vid, too!!,' but yeah, theyd be quite pissed, and we have an open-ish houseplan, so my mom could hear everything from her comp. my dads is downstairs. what imma do is wait till my mom takes my little sister to work (she still doesnt have her license), and make the cookies then, where i can say whatever the fuck i want. the reason i cant do it today is my dad is up in the kitchen, so i cant exactly swear up there. my sister has off tomorrow, but hopefully i can finally make the fuckers thursday!
