because e3 isn't about showing the public anything. they're showing the shareholders what will make the most money, and shovelware makes money

 

If they honestly think that the same shovelware games being rehashed over and over again will make money, then they seriously don't know their market.
People are too fucking apathetic to spend money on the exact same game with just another few features, especially if it doesn't take less than five seconds to buy and set up.
