Speaking of Facebook, I love how their stock shares are taking a big shit right now. I knew I would have done well if I had shorted the shit out of it.

The day Facebook's stocks opened I checked CNN Tech section. 9/10 of the top listed articles were about Facebook. Nine. Out of Ten. There should have been one fucking article, and it should be in the business section. Are you seriously telling me nothing else is happening in the world of technology today, CNN? How much is FB passing you under the table? When you're done with Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, suck my dick, CNN.

Fuck you guy, I can't open reddit at work because half the front page posts are like "HI I'M A GIRL IS IT NORMAL THAT MY BOYFRIEND MASTURBATES?" followed by thousands of comments from insecure teenaged boys reassuring each other that their habits are normal.

For the least amount of stupidity possible on reddit, unsubscribe from all the default subreddits. Those are always the worst.

 

My subscribed reddits are even less suitable for work.

I'm pretty chill with Facebook. Sure as hell made YM and MSN obsolete for myself, since me and my mates just chat on Facebook when we get on.

Oh, and don't fret, I barely post any ridiculous, inane BS on my FB. The most I do is like funny pictures and possibly throw some underhanded compliments on random slutty chicks.

 

I love my Facebook. It's pretty much how I bother talking to people when I'm at home, which is fairly often since I don't pride myself on my booming social life. I've met a number of interesting people, and have gotten to know a few people (classmates, mostly) who have gone on to become really good friends in the real world and not just in virtual land. All in all, it's a great place, despite the myriad of problems that tend to crop up.

So, I totally just left a site because the bastards disabled certain sizes, and the site doesn't auto-fit to the size of the screen. Not using shit that only takes up half of my monitor. It isn't even over the top big or anything. Being stuck using a cramped interface made for a monitor half the size of mine just frustrates me, and after being on, well, the rest of the internet, it also just seems to be a sign of lazy coding these days.

 

My main problem with Facebook was that it sucked me in and I found myself doing basically nothing way too much and for way too long. And for all the time I spent on it I didn't have a meaningful conversation or memory made. I know some people do, but for my friends serious talk is done face-to-face and meeting up is discussed via txt or call.

No hate towards users though, I get why people use it. My bigger problem is with the company itself in it's privacy policies.
