I don't get why people like Tales of the abyss. I bought it and so far, the main character is insufferable, the plot is uninspired and the voice acting is utter shit.

Ergo Proxy = Awesome

Although there are some things that bug me from the ending.

 

i concur, ergo proxy is great. but the ending could've gone better. just like how people wished hellsing was longer.

 

It's not actually just the ending. It's these possible facts:

1. Re-L, Pino and Kristeva would die in the end. I think it's been stated that the artificial humans and AutoReivs would die in direct sunlight, just like Proxies. But since Re-L is a possibly a clone of Monad, she wouldn't die. Just like how Ergo Proxy is a "clone" of Proxy One. I don't know about Pino and Kristeva.

2. One of Vincent's words: "After thousands of years the real mankind descends blah blah blah..... And now the real struggle begins". It has two meanings. Either he intends to fight them out of revenge for using the faulty Proxy system or he intends to help rebuild Earth with them.

3. Another one of Vincent's speech: "Along with Re-L, Pino and the other survivors....". This line is killing me the most. The Proxy system was designed to be wiped out as soon as sunlight was present on Earth. How in Romdo's name are there survivors?

Ehh. Eitherway, it was a great psychological mystery anime.
