    I remember the time when I was deep frying some pork chops.

    One of the chops suddenly popped... while my face was right in front of the deep fryer.
    I pulled away quickly enough but...
    A stray drop of boiling oil made its way on my left eyelid...
    For the next three days, it hurt to blink.

    and thats why I sugest to not look at them from close but from farther away, like keep the minium of 20 CM away from them

    I was standing AT LEAST 1 foot away but the oil still managed to end up on my face. :p
    Well, it was a rookie mistake. It was my first time deep frying pork. I learned a valuable lesson.

    Pork fat + Boiling Oil = Lots and lots of popping. KEEP THE LID CLOSED!
