the way my mother taught me was:

Fruit
Milk
sugar
vanilla extract
almond extract
a pinch of salt

is that weird?

 

I might have to try that sometime...The only weird part is the salt.


I just usually blend Orange juice with a couple of frozen berries with some sugar.
Sure, it might come out a sour brain-freeze inducing mess, but it's my yummy sour brain-freeze inducing mess.

 

ours are the milk smoothies, not the juice kind. If u want it to be cold u have to crush ice in it or just use frozen fresh fruit

mom said the salt is to balance out something from the fruit i think

 

Ah, I overlooked the milk part, it all makes sense now.
