People joke about death all the time. Hell, we make 9/11 jokes in IRC on occasion.

It's hard to really care about somebody dying if you didn't really know the person in the first place. That probably sounds insensitive but let's face it: You'd probably care more if your family dog/cat/whatever animal died than some celebrity anyways.

Does that make it right though? I can't really say. We all have different views on everything in the end.
