They don't, a lot of the irc folk have been banned at some point.

They ban when they notice a user is a target for flamebait for the wrong reason, or they ban someone that almost everyone hates. While you don't cause a scene like say, Databank or Girogex, you're just as irritating as them and your little quips in every post is even more annoying than either of them.
