Not in a year or 2.Most game console and handhelds have at least a lifespan of 5 years.Sometimes more.The DS had 7.The GBA had about 6.

Ofcorse,if the system really sucks,it will die quickly(I'm talking to you,CD-i)

To be fair, Virtual Boy does have one great game: FUCKING WARIO LAND.

 

And that mario clash seems decent.

 

NGP seems better.

 

I can tell you right now,for how powerful the hardware is,the battery is going to only be about 1 or 2 hours.The 3DS doesn't have near as much,yet its 3 to 5 hours.

 

Pre ordered my 3DS at gamestop, also tried out a preview.
