    I have an obvious one, but since you're asking for basic tips...
    Every time you can see a Pokemon on the field (usually just legendary Pokemon) save before battling it, as it will be a pain should you fail.
    Oh, and don't teach your Pokemon HM moves recklessly.

    When you get the Masterball, use it on Pokemon lower than level 10, and are easy to catch. It creates something special.

    It's EA, so I don't doubt that. This just shows the difference between people who actually play the game and people who get paid to play the game and give good scores.

    It's shit like this that basically eroded my faith in most professional games journalism - not to mention the fact that reviewers get just as excited about stupid shit as anyone else., maybe moreso since they're exposed to hype 24/7.

    Thank god for daycare.

    When I was battling for the 2nd gym badge the final pokemon was lvl 20.

    My starters only level 16.
