I had one weapon. My Articuno.
My Articuno's Ice beam always froze whoever I was facing. It never missed, and never failed to freeze. I was accused of hacking it, but you can't hack higher move infliction percentages.

 

Mewtwo was only catchable with the masterball, right?

 

Nah, you could catch him the hard way. You had to sleep/freeze/ critical hp him. And even doing that you could waste 100's of your pokeballs, most people just used the master ball.

 

I tossed a pokeball at a snorlax once and it missed...
I was like, WTF HOW THE HECK DID I MISS A SNORLAX?!

Most likely he swallowed it. I have to admit, he was a tank though, if you gave him Toxic as a weapon, he was overly brutal. Toxic was wayyyy to overpowered in those games.
I'm getting ready to play some Tohu, been a minute since I played, should I amp up the difficulty? Just wondering.

 

I attempted to capture him the "honorable" way, in my old Blue version...
That failed....and I used a Masterball. XP

 

I never played Touhou before so I dunno...

Also, you can easily catch Mewtwo with pokeballs, great balls and ultra balls. O___o
I was like five when I played this, geez, some of you guys are rubbish.

 

Same here. Though I have to say, Ho-Oh was more difficult to catch in Silver than Mewtwo was.. I had him on 1hp, asleep, and used 212 balls in total to catch him..
Then people said they had Mew, move the truck is what I was told.. Years later a glitch actually allows you to capture Mew.
Blew me away.

That was a bad time for me personally. See I couldn't.. Well I wasn't supposed to let it stand at attention, for if I did, it hurt considerably badly.

I had to avoid all things that could get me up, and wouldn't you know it, all my nurses were hot foreign women.
