Also, I saw the new Tron movie today and was not disappointed. Very awesome movie.

 

It's basically a dumbed down Avatar, little story but pretty visuals.

 

I dunno, the story was pretty much there. Better than Avatar for me by a very long shot.

 

Yeah, the story was a bit better than Avatar's, but it's still lacking quite a bit.

 

You can't expect the story in a movie like that to be super fleshed out. For an action flick, it had really all the story that it needed. You knew who everybody was, why everything happened, and how it all ended. I don't want G.I. Joe (2009 movie) levels of story. That movie was 60% flashbacks.

 

Every movie needs to be The Shawshank Redemption. This is why the Tekken movie sucked ass.

 

I'm seriously considering whether The Shawshank Redemption was actually the greatest film of all time.

 

I don't watch drama movies, but i'd watch Shawshank Redemption every single time on TV. I don't even to buy the DVD, it's shown at least twice a year. Kinda like The Big Lebowski

 

Shawshank is alright, Forrest Gump is possibly the greatest movie of all time.

In fact, when I think of Shawshank, I honestly think mostly about how the Green Mile was also another great movie.
