That it is. Student loans cripple students over here. Finatically and physically. Girls offer services from their dorm room, guys sale drugs as a full time job to pay the loans back.
There is no default on those loans. Don't pay it back, and expect to be forever bankrupt.

Our student loans are pretty friendly. There's no interest on them.

There is here, although the interest on them is lower compared to bank loans. It's still a lot of money to owe back regardless.
