I dunno, they aren't THAT durable at the hinge.

 

The Original DS is the most durable, no doubt.

 

i'm surprised your DS didn't break at the hinge.
there's not much more you can do to your DS though. It sounds pretty broken

 

My DS is an original Phat, so the hinge is gigantic and thick. And I could do sooooo much more to it.

 

getting it repaired sounds like it will be more expensive than if you just bought a new one.

Ya.... Well Im just hoping mine will last until the 3DS comes out.... The touch screen is getting worse and worse every month and I cant calibrate it....

 

I don't really want a 3DS. I play my DS 99% of the time when its dark, so I don't think 3D in the dark would be good.
When they release it, and the price of the DSi falls, I will buy a dsi.
I just hope they keep making normal ds games

 

You mean like when they made the dsi?? Maby.... Or just make games that are compatible with both....
