Still needs at least two shots up close to kill anything but a Scout, and that second shot's a bitch to nail after the blowback. I don't triple jump so that's not an issue for me. The amount of ammo is criminally low, too.

About the FaN, I didn't have problems with ammo, I have more with Shortstop (fast firing and reload makes me trigger happy). In heart of battle, when players are already injured, one shot from close is usually enough. I also use throwback for dodging Pyros, and it only works in air. Damage is terrible from bigger distance, but for that you can take pistol... I generally think that if one likes FaN or not, depends on preferences.
