Fucking universities. Took me a week to get a piece of paper from my polytech that I needed to use to apply for a nice well-known university, and now the university's taking forever to process my application.

I don't know if I'm accepted or not in ANY of the three degree applications I put in.

At least you heard back. I'm in limbo. Can't make any plans at all until I know what's happening. Can't even take a holiday because I might need the money to move out.

 

getting accepted isn't hard. Keeping up with your debts afterwards is atrocious.

On a more cheerful note, I went for an early morning run and finished with an ice-cold shower. Feel pretty fucking manly. Time to make some bacon.

 

Wasn't aimed at you. I spent my uni years in Michigan, and watched Ann Arbor gobble kids up.
Freshmen averaged at least 6 to 12 thousand dollars debt by mid year.
It effectivly doubled and tripled years after.
One of the females I talked to on a regular basis, ended up doing the "Dirty Debutantes" Porn shoot, to pay off some of her student loans.

I forgot Americans don't have subsidised or free tertiary study.

Ours is pretty heavily subsidised. I'll likely have to pay about 8,000 NZD for each year in a BE (4 year course). Sucks that you guys have to pay so much, but such is life in America.
