Nah, this one chick I know has a formspring account where I went ahead and anonymously told her I would ask her out if I had the gnads. She wanted to know who it was, so I went ahead and sent her a message saying who I was (expecting nothing from it of course). I figured we don't talk much, so it possibly can't make things too terribly worse.

Now, I await a reply, if any, and will probably happily regret this decision. We only have a single class together, and I hang out with my close friend in there anyways. Like I said though, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I totally had to look up "tsundere," and upon learning what it is, I agree.

 

Better to go for it and get rejected(which I doubt she'll do) than to have the lingering thoughts run rampant in your skull.

 

That's exactly what I figured. What do I really have to lose if there is nothing there in the first place? Of course the nerves are acting up as they always will, but I can't let the possibility of things not going my way stunt whatever I may do.

 

That is to be expected. I spent my life as a pessimist, and it's not worth it.
As you read the article I wrote, I would have rather been told to shove off, than to have never known what could have been.
Either way, I hope you get a conclusive answer man.

Remember this though; even as friends, should she pull that line on you.
You can still do more damage that way. If she tells you we can be friends, that is the perfect chance to get to know her without the pressure of a label.

 

I thought that at the very least, this could be a chance to get to know her far better than I do now. It's something I look forward to if it is to happen. I let my fear and anxiety hold me back for so freaking long. This is the year I've been trying to make a change, pull out of that fear, and become the person I want to be. It is far more difficult than some may know, but I know it will be a worthwhile journey where the cons could never outweigh the pros.

I hope you can begin some healing for yourself, as it doesn't seem at all worth it to let that hang onto you for the rest of your life.

Man, life is complicated as hell.

 

So long as I know others will be taking the journey with me, I know I have brothers in arms.
That being the case, I will gladly take the first steps to recovery.

Life is complicated, due to us adding our own personal muck and mire to the equation.
Try talking to Stan/SIR, as he knows a lot about how to overcome through seeing through the roadblocks we put up ourselves.

I do hope you might join up someday with us, it's not about the quantity, it's about the quality.
