Silly girl, a solicitor is a lawyer. But yeah, I wanna be a lawyer rather than a paralegal or a legal advisor.

I thought solicitors were people who signed wills and sold houses and stuff. Whereas lawyers were like court people.

no, no... you're right one of a solicitors functions is to handle the conveyance of property, although it's now legal for almost any financial institute to preform the same task; building societies etc

the easy way to look at it is that solicitors are the GPs of the law world.

solicitors can only appear in the lower courts though, so i hope to eventually become an advocate or a solicitor-advocate once i get enough experience under my belt.

All we have to do is somehow prove that the cause of death was suicide, that terminates all your guilt. Although you could still be charged for negligence... but atleast it's better than malpractice.

I am an electrical engineer. Unless you get a fat contract, which I did with the cities school system, then law is better.

I do hope if you do ever make it, to take some cases of the less fortunate.
Not only does it help them, it builds you a reputation as someone trustworthy.
Then you can back stab them if you wish.
