But in my special land of the US, it's Waldo.

We've also had a very serious news report (and the country made a big deal of it) on Leprechauns. Yes, an entire town thought they saw a leprechaun on a tree. Worst part is, I'm entirely serious.
Thankfully, at least half of the country thought the entire thing was a hoax/insanity.
