I can't see it being bad, even if it rips it off. But the execution is critical here R man.
Think about it, if it ends up like Castlevania 64, with the tricky jumps and whatnot, it'll stink.
Also I doubt it will take more than 8 to 10 hours to demolish it.

Fun fact: He's only being nice so he can get tit pics at a later date.
I haven't seen any of those particularly annoying jumps in all the gameplay videos I've seen thus far. I'm probably a bit weird though since I actually liked Castlevania 64. =/

I also like Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness though so meh. I'm not too worried about it at least. I figure the Shadow of the Colossus scale boss battles should make up for any annoyances like that.

Oh, and you'll apparently have to do plenty of back-tracking to get 110% for every area since you'll need powers you get later on in the game in order to get them. I figure that should be sufficient to get 20 hours or so out of at least.

Although it'll be fun trying to take on the "XTREME-ULTRAHARD-MEGA-DIFFICULT" difficulty.
Still haven't beaten DMC4 on Heaven or Hell mode.

I liked C64 too actually, but too many needless, where the hell is the camera being operated by a drunken toddler issues arose. I just see them as taking a bit of an easy way out with a popular 2-D franchise. The Belmont whip(Vampire Killer) seems a lot like Kratos' chains in this one. I wonder how much memory it will take up on the disk, to try and fit castlevania's rooms in 3-D rendering.
Shit could overflow even a blu-ray disk.

I know the 360 version needs 2 discs. They did a cool thing with that though and made it so that you can install disc 1 and just put in disc 2 and play the game with no disc-swapping when you want to go back to an earlier level.

Now, why couldn't they have done that with FFXIII... *Angry-face*

I'm going to watch the first episode of Haibane Renmei and go to sleep now... *Yawns loudly*

    G'night guys!

I wonder why they didn't implement that years ago, download disk one to the HD, and then all you have to do is insert disk one. At least they finally caught up. I'll buy it, I'm a Castlevania lover of course. here's hoping people don't flood Game Stop after they beat it and want to return it like they did with Lament of innocence:/

Dude your PS3 jailbreak topic is nice, Chris. Just leave it there for the time being, no one is really on at the moment. Kinda like a low tide, check again tomorrow.

Those types of threads are not popular, but they last a lot longer than others. Expect replies at a very slow rate.
