It's actually safer to use ChickHEN, then 5.03GEN-C. Using 5.50 GEN-D has a chance of Bricking if your PSP 2k is the later one, released with the latest motherboard.
You can use PSPIdent to check your Motherboard. There's a chart to see if your Motherboard is fully hackable or semi-hackable.
