I like this AP,at least it was funny

 

Taken to absurd extremes by some anti-piracy adverts as seen in cinemas and especially those put on to DVD releases. The pirates — or indeed, anyone who downloads movies or music — are portrayed as or compared to thugs or gangsters at best, or demonic creatures from the blackest pits of Hell at worst. These wouldn't be so bad, but sometimes you can't fast-forward these adverts (or even stop the DVD playing, with some of them), and are thus forced to watch passively while you are accused of being a murderous vampiric monster who probably eats newborn babies whilst downloading copyrighted ones and zeroes. You are being told this, it should be noted, on a product which you purchased legally - whereas illegal copies of that product likely have those messages removed (Or So I Heard). The people behind these adverts apparently don't realize that one of the benefits of illegal downloading is that you wouldn't have to be insulted by these adverts when you watch it.

Some games on the original Play Station, such as Legend Of Dragoon and Vandal Hearts 2, would detect if you had a mod-chip (which lets you play imported or copied games) in your system, and then the game would not play and a message to call a place to report the problem would come up on screen. What it boiled down to was that people who had mod chips and COULD pirate the games but DIDN'T could not play the games they bought legitimately. It was probably in an attempt to get people to abandon their mod chip consoles, guess what they abandoned instead?

You know,I actually went to a store and ask if they can get me the limited boxset of EXCEED a few months before its out

But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I can't get it

if only buying stuff from local stores in any country is as easy as downloading it illegally,maybe people would buy it instead *GASP*
