Question: If I use a gun rather then the sword would my stats turn out different? Or if I got attacked more then usual will my Vit increase when I lvl?

 

I still think it depends on the type you get on the beginning.
No difference with a sword or gun.

try it make 1 level using only gun and one only sword and one only skills

Just balance your fighting style.
If an enemy is weak against guns, use it, if not then use your strongest attack.
The main point is to keep doing Demon Co-Op, can kill in one strike. :
