Try the Tales of Series for PSP :
And play Strange Journey for DS. :

The gameplay is more fun. :
The music is nice though, especially on earphones :

The one that have English is either Tales of The World Radiant Mythology or Tales of Eternia on PSP.
Tales of VS is pretty good, since it's a fighting game, playing it in Japanese is not much of a problem. :
