I kept on searching things like Ai Yuki and stuff like that to see if I could find it. >_<

 

That is very hard to explain.

You play as a girl named Madotsuki. You can't go out of your apartment except the balcony.
If you sleep, you will wake up in your dreams and you actually go out now, but it will lead you to the Nexus. (Room with different doors that lead to worlds)

You can't talk to anybody in the game, and nobody speaks in the game.
So basically, you don't know anything about your main character.
The game has a big map with many different doors. Most of the paths lead to a dead end.

The characters of the game are very weird and unique in their own way.
Like for example, there's a flying octopus-like creature that has a 1/3600 chance of appearing.

In order to complete the game, you must collect 24 "Effects" which are powers that Madotsuki can use.

People make theories about why Madotsuki had "those" kind of dreams, and what the characters from the dreams resemble to her in the real world.
They also made a theory on why and what happened on the ending.

The ending is unexplainable.
