Who the hell is Mysterion anyway?

Well according to the heated arguments at mrtwig's.net, Mysterion might be:

    1. Clyde - as one person there cited, during Eric's Coon speech in Class Clyde was asleep. He then stated that maybe Clyde was sleeping in class not because of Eric's boring speech but because he was all tuckered out from being out all night patrolling the town as Mysterion.

    2. Stan - Because according to another fellow, Mysterion came to ask for Kyle's help seeing as he is Stan's best friend.

I for one think it's Kenny because though he is poor, he has the skills to make a Superhero identity. Remember the Korn Halloween episode? Kenny was able to make an ED-209 costume despite his lack of money.

Sorry for the necro-double post, but I just got to rave about something, now it will start off as being off topic but please do read on....

I just sat through watching an old movie that a local channel here aired a couple of hours ago, it was "Pet Sematary" which was a movie from 1989. I was an 80's kid but I never seem to have watched this. Anyway I am raving about it as it seems to have been referenced on four occassions on South Park, namely:

    Season 2, Episode 15 - Spooky fish
Season 4, Episode 16 - The Wacky Molestation Adventure
Season 5, Episode 14 - Butters' very own Episode
    Season 9, Episode 9 - Marjorine

The movie was about this family who moved into this house on a part of town where the road is very hazzardous as many speeding big rigs pass by it, causing accidents mostly concerning pets getting run over.

An "old red-neck" happens to be their neighbor who lives just across the road. On the day they moved into their new home, the family notices a strange path that leads off to the woods whose path begins at their house's backyard. The kind neighbor tells & shows them where the path leads to, a cemetery for pets who've been run over by trucks over the years.

On a tragic incident, the family's house cat was run over by one of those trucks. The cat actually belonged to the eldest child of the family & at the time of its death it was the father who witnessed the accident. Feeling his predicament in finding it hard to explain to a child the tragedy of death, the old neighbor told the father to follow him somewhere beyond the pet cemetery, to an area known as an "ancient Indian burial ground", sounds familiar?

Soon after the cat rose from the dead but "was not the same thing that was buried, for the ground has turned sour", again something a die hard South Park fan might recall.

Then later on, things got worse as his youngest son, which was just a mere toddler was also run over. He was confronted by the old man saying his all too familiar lines:

"Sometimes dead is better, what you bury in the ground isn't what comes out"

Fast forward, his son returns a killing zombie & the kid says another familiar South Park homage:

"I've finished playing with Judd (the old man) & mommy, now I wanna play with you"

So yeah, I very much loved the movie for two reasons:

    1. The South Park homages, and

    2. I love movies of this genre.

Yeah South Park just earned more mileage in my books ;D

well south park use lots of movie as ref like Night of the Living Homeless = Night of the Living Dead, Two Days before the day after tomorrow = Day after Tomorrow (the global warming chasing scene = evil dead ref).

Anyway I fine Pinewood Derby episode is a paradox, any south park fans would remember that Earth is just a reality TV show for the Universe, so why does the Universe wants Earth to join them?
