SOTW Discussion Thread

I think, because it is a contest of signatures, that ALL contestants need to put their creation into their signature util the voting ends. Otherwise they lose automaticly.

 

No no no, that sounds unnecessarily restrictive. Which is the last thing SOTW needs.
SOTW runs fine without that rule.

 

Just let members enter with all fairness. It gives others more of a chance to choose anyways. I think most people are capable of choosing sigs to their taste. More variety the better.

Ugh, nevermind what I mean. I just wanted to see more siggys posted on the competitions.

Do you think that if the winner and runner up would get at least a few points (itty-bitty) worth of rewards that more members are likely to compete? This is my suggestion that would hopefully attract others into joining.

That's unfair.

 

Seph is too lazy to do this. He promised me to create a reward system like 3 months ago.

 

This may be a noobish question but what is GFX? Why isn't this child board called SOTW? Cuz there is nothing else really here.

I don't think there are enough people interested in sotw, or maybe I just suck in hosting it..

 

Maybe you could add another SOTW for users who just started out using photoshop or GIMP or whatever. It feels like some users are kinda discouraged because they think they're gonna lose anyway.

 

Annoncing the 2nd & 3rd place would be nice too.

One fortunate thing is that this board isn't called the SOTW board so it doesn't even have to be used for that.

Honestly, I don't much care what gets done in here so long as it's some sort of competition that doesn't break some major rule.

Devon, if you've got something you want to try, then tell me if you need anything to do it.
