lol I apologize for my piece of crap entry this week. I literally took 5-10 minutes working on it. did it at the last minute. I coudnt find an image that inspired me much.

Shinigami yet again did an excellent job. though I do not know why LittleKill's joke sig(I hope he did that sig a s ajoke) is getting so many votes XD. If I remember it is to be voted on graphical ability, style, and relation to the theme, not if its funny or not

oh please don't start this argument because your going to get people just coming back and arguing that it is actually more creative then anything else as its not just a render on a background with a few fractals and brushes.

we have already had this when suis graced us with his "creativity" and it's not happening again!

 

i'll enter this one if i can be bothered to open photoshop... i wanna try experimenting with soviet/communistic art.

I remember a few years back, when I was pretty big in the GFX community under another alias. I left the communities due to the egos flying around about who was better and why, and the arguments over technique and such. I went and took up flaming instead, which is a lot more fun.

The attitudes here are starting to smack of those boards I left and the arrogance of the sig makers who would hit smaller boards with novice siggers and utterly destroy them. I don't intend to leave here. Get the point?

 

well i have no idea what you are on about as no one really throws any egos around here, we don't have many experienced sig makers here and they don't say anything ego-ish, in fact it's all a bit too nice.

i remember when almo and a few other experienced sig makers where around and they'd tear people apart and those people would benefit from a constructive dig, now people are far to nice and there is not such a fast level of development.

i got ripped apart the first time i started posting sigs and everything that was said i fixed and took all comments and used what they said to make better ones.

i don't even know what your trying to do here, i said to you before that if your entering enter but i will not tolerate you flaming all the time.

 

Alright, I'll be blunt. Little good it will do, since it's going to end up unfriendly and thus deleted.

- I don't like you at the moment, equity. Usually I don't mind you at all. I've said this before, and I'll say this again, with emphasis. Leave my fucking posts alone. I have not done anything wrong, nor broken the terms of our (apparently) mutual agreement - you give me the benefit of the doubt and not immediately assume that I'm going to post unsuitable material, and I in turn take SOTW seriously. I do not appreciate you editing my posts, and then claiming infractions when I protest.

And as an added precaution, I'm capping this post. I've very carefully made sure I'm not breaking any rules here, so there are no grounds whatsoever for this post to be deleted. If it is, well, you'll be in the wrong. Now let's act like mature adults and let this competition continue without any more drama, shall we? I'm not here to pick a fight with you or anyone else, and I refuse to be goaded nor harrassed any further by any user, be they moderator or no.

Personally, I want to see more "unique" sigs out there; too many people follow the same tracks, and a little bit of laughter is good for the soul.

I dont mind a laugh sig, but still. The person should atlest try to make it look decent. I hate seeing the people who obviously took more time out of their lives to work on their entry only to get it shoved in their faces because the voters found the one done in 3 minutes, funny

 

@ suis, that post is fine, i'm just not having you post crap across these boards and yes i might be overly harsh on you but that's because of your behaviour, LK pulls alot of the same stunts as you but at least he's funny, you on the other hand just come across as a nasty piece of work looking for and argument.

my moderation of you posts are to stop a flame war again and i may be strict on you but that is the consequence of previous actions.

and i don't know why you have an issue with cs i don't think he is particularly egotistical and even if he is a little bit it's certainly not thrown about.

his probably took longer to draw then to make a standard style sig.

as i have said many times it is naive to think you will see lots of unique sigs, SOTW is and will always be a beginner/recreational sig competition so the type of work shown will be at that level and not overly creative.

that's why we now have SOTM and we should expect what you want to see there

looks like lk's sig gave him one hell of an advantage this week XD.

sotw needs more contructive criticism though aside from plain ass voting imo (or at least more thoughts on others sigs) instead of people having little digs at eachother.
although sotw has mainly been so far just for fun really, seeing as none of the above really happens,

but those pretty much would have to be funny, otherwise they would probally be ignored as complete and utter shit, unless you got the skills.
