I am partial to Sony, but my PS3 collects just as much dust as my Wii does, and same would happen with a 360 if I had one.

ya sony sucks, its not like they are selling any 3DTV, making every PS3 3D ready, implementing fake virtual reality or making 3D game.

I agree with that about sony, but Nintendo always put the experience and enjoyment of their customers before profit and thats why they're more popular and don't need to churn out endless amounts of noobish games to stay afloat.

3rd party or not, they still need Nintendo permission to release it.

 

We call it licencing, and Big N still makes some profit from that.

But that doesn't mean that Nintendo are directly responsible for the crappiness of a game. They just allow it to be put on their system.

I said directly responsible. For all we know the quality assurance team could smoke heaps of weed. The so called "shovelware" could just be made to appeal to a different demographic. Simply put; just because you don't like it doesn't mean it sucks.
