...that's stupid, the gamecube had the same shape, just the buttons overall were edited and the stick was swapped with the d-pad.

But the ps1 controller was based on the snes controller...who's copying who?

    Yeah I turned it down.
If you already own a PSX why buy a PS2 to play PSX games? :p

Plus I don't like fighting style games (Smash Bros. Series are kept outta that list) and shooting games.
PS2 has too much of that games, is my opinion, so I didn't take it.

lolz It has the layout, but what does that matter?
The Classic Controller Pro really "emulates" the PS# controller. I bet Nintendo ran out of controller style ideas :p

PS move is NOT a copy of the wiimote. It is an entirely different technology and concept based on something that has been around for far longer than the wii.

You may think that it is a copied Wii remote (it has the same purpose: moving) but it is entirely different.

ok so yeah but i mean just look at the comparison in shape but other than that they are pretty different

...in shape they are pretty different too.

The Playstation Move has a ball on top, while the Wii remote is flat.

Plus the Wii remote has buttons, the Playstation Move not (correct?).

You're looking on the wrong side of PS2.
    There are other games.

Ps2 has a huge list of all types of games, and a lot are far better than DS games.

Based off your misconceptions of the PS2 game library, I can list A LOT of great games for the console without listing a shooter or fighting game.
    Fuck I hate ignorant people.
Final Fantasy, Rachet and Clank, Jak, Kingdom Hearts, Guitar Hero, Shadow of the Colossus, Persona, Dragon Quest, Burnout, Metal Gear Solid, God Of War, Okami, Xenosaga, Shadow Hearts, Shin Megami Tensei, DMC, Silent Hill, GT4, Zone of the Enders, ICO, Suikoden, Katamari Damaci, Tales of the Abyss, Dark Cloud, .hack, Sly Cooper, God Hand, Onimusha, Maximo, Yakuza, Killer7(I'd barely call this a shooter), Arc The Lad, Disgae, and, uh, Rez?

There's so much on the PS2, it's not so much that it's your opinion of disliking the PS2, it's that your reason for disliking the PS2 has absolutely no bearing. The PS2 was built of it's 3 best platform game series (Jak, Sly and Rachet), a couple of gems (SotC, Okami, ICO) and a lot of RPGs. Don't forget the games in between like MGS, Zone Of The Enders, Dark Cloud, Maximo etc.

And mostly the only good shoters/fighting games I can think of, that are actually good imo, is Timesplitters and Soul Calibur. There's a couple others but those two stand out.

I totally agree with Natewlie. PS2 was, and still is a great console with many awesome games, and even comparing it with DS is silly. I like Sony much more than Nintendo and will not bother with 3DS, unless I'll have too much money in my pocket. That's my opinion.

I wouldn't compare a handheld to stationary console...
And if you must, then rather to PSX, if we are talking about graphics.
