has anybody tried with edge and firmware 1.8?

it doesnt work on 1.7 but i havent updated yet, probably will this weekend.

 

Does not work on 1.8, so we will need to wait for 1.9 to be released or a patch for the rom.

patch doesnt work on r4i gold. sad face again. is any1 else trying to make a patch? also how well does this run on th acekard 2i with 1.6rc1? quite tempted to get one for £11...

 

The AP on this game can not be all that bad, because it runs on the no$gba2.6a

 

wot does that say about r4s lol. there was a lot of people talking bout slowdown on the first cards that could run it but now acekard2 works with the new firmware is there any slowdown on that?

 

I've got an Acekard 2i and tried it with AKAIO 1.5, 1.5.1 and 1.6 RC1.
every time i get the message:-

"THE SAVE DATA COULD NOT BE ACCESSED." ETC

how do I get it to work?

 

Too bad there's no DSX support anymore. I guess I'm buying this retail lol
Not a bad price though, even on a budget...

 

AKAIO 1.6 RC1 works fine, ensure you are using a clean rom - ie not one you've tried to hack using a different Arm7.

Edge 1.8 didnt work for me............maybe 1.9???

 

The game runs as good as it can. It's not PERFECT because there is some jittery slowdown (which I'm told is not present on the actual DS card; my personal opinion is the bus between the micro SD card and the flash card isn't fast enough to run a proper and full emulation, when you remove that step by running it right from the cart it's smoother) but it's playable.

 

so its really not that bad, something that could easily be lived with? im quite picky you see haha

 

I've compared the real game with the rom using my Acekard 2i with a generic class 3 4gb SD (forgot make, will post later) - they run the same speed. So SD dependent as well.

 

well if it runs at the same speed as the actual game, thats alright then.

 

Anybody got a good guess when we can expect the next EDGE firmware update?

 

What's taking all of the AP hackers so long?...need an R4 patch NAO! :'(
