EDIT: I'm just guessing that no one will come up will a patch for the R4 right?

 

I don't believe this issue is Anti-Piracy related. It seems to be a save related issue causing the problems, which is why Arm7 patching fixes it for quite a few cards.

 

Okay, why doesn't anyone do that then?

To patch get DSbuff, open your rom, click ARM7, select the arm7 file and patch it.

Nein, I just tried it. I think it's going to be a firmware issue.

 

But will there be a solution for R4 users? Thanks to YSmenu all the games I'm interested in have worked on my R4 so far.
A new firmware seems to be needed in order to play this game, and since it's a pretty much dead product... it will be difficult, no?

 

I don't understand why people keep posting help patching the arm7.bin thing. It still doesn't work! Unless you have a question, gonna post the link to the REAL patch or report a working flash card...

 

This works on my Acekard 2i with 1.5.1 while holding x to load.

 

Hey, just confirming. If you arm7 patch the game with the .bin file from 1439 - 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (U)(SQUiRE).nds using dslazy. It definatly works on acekard 2i. but you hold down (A) when loading, not (X). Wifi also works perfectly.
This game is awsome, i like it alot more then mario kart. The tracks are more intense and its just a breath of fresh air.

hey i was wondering how did you get the latest firmware to work i put it on my card now it wont go past loading any of my roms

Huzzah indeed! You do need the latest loaders to get it to work, though.
And what does holding X down while loading do? Apart from make it work!
