    11 = 2 ones
    21 = 1 two 1 one
    1211 = 1 one 1 two 2 ones
    111221 = 3 ones 2 twos 1 one
    312211 = 1 three 1 one 2 twos 2 ones
    13112221 = 1 one 1 three 2 ones 3 twos 1 one
    1113213211 = 3 ones 1 three 1 two 1 one 1 three 1 two 2 ones
    31131211131221 and so on...

    Oh, I usually read it as one(the number of) 1s, two 1s and so forth.

    I've never liked putting an s behind a number, so I do the opposite.

    ones > 1s. At least for me.
