So I guess r4 is old now.....

I have an R4SDHC, it is definitely fake but works absolutely fine as long as you don't install the official R4 firmware. Plus, it's not really compatible with SDHC cards: people have reported bugs when running games from SDHC card on an R4SDHC. I use a 2gig Kingston and have not had a single problem.

Haven't made any new firmware for R4 for a while. You'd need the R4SDHC firmware for the R4SDHC flashcart obviously. Carrying on my legacy jin.

 

If I get a CycloDS do I do the same set up thing as I did for the R4, the 1.18 kernel thing or is this a whole new different ball game? I'm not very technical minded so I need it to be quite simple. Also is there another way to change games that are on the R4 other than turning the DS off and re-starting it... does the CycloDS have an option to change games without turning the DS off and starting it again?

You of course need to download the official CycloDS firmware and do basically the same thing. Basically Cyclo should have softreset, R4 has it too you know, L+R+A+B+X+Y.

Anybody know how to play the Sonicles on the R4?

 

Sonic Chronicles? I think I read a thread somewhere about it, it's stickied and everything I think, try searching the forums.
