This laptop is not slow and has never crashed...
It gets slow when it has been on for a few hours.

It's only slow at the startup and while it's loading everthing up for use. Internet and everything else is fine.

Have you got loads of programs installed that start up with the pc?
Also try cleaning your registry if you don't already, I use ccleaner, it can help.

You don't have to, ccleaner does it for you safely, it only finds errors.

You need to clean your registry, ive never had any problems and it gives you the option to back up your registry before you clean it.
Try it, I bet your computer works better.

Yoshi2889: just save all your important stuff and reinstall a system, preferably windows xp.....
this is another option rather than using ccleaner or other programs....
i constantly mess around with my pc's to get as many viruses as i can in them....the pc then starts doing all these trippy/creepy things....and then i call my little bro and tell him my pc is possesed, he buys it.....then i reinstall a new system....the installation only takes 45 min tops...then im up and running again with a pc that runs with ease....
as mentioned before by me, programs and stuff mainly make the pc slow....
even organizeing the shit outta them does not help....so one word "reinstall".....

I cleaned the registry yesterday and it didn't do much. It loads a bit faster than before.

Yeah but I have a load of shit installed at this computer and I don't want to lose it's data because mr. CCLeaner deletes it in 2 seconds.

Have you tried backing some stuff you want on a disk or something then use CCLeaner.

ccleaner doesn't delete installed stuff, it just sorts out registry errors and runs disk clean up.
