    I dunno but, the PC version does have head shoots.

    Even though I never stoped to do a properly test, I have a lot more sucess OHK.O enemys aiming the head.

    A lot of people also have complains of getting one shooted by archers on higher dificulties. It is there.

    nonethless, I always aim for the head......... when I am not sneaking with double daggers.

    Nope.

    Do a test with an NPC with a weak bow. Same damage every time at any location.

    After going from the initial new game hump, the game's okay.

    Magic is only really useful if you're spec-ing that way, quest lines are so short that they don't make any sense storywise (hi there newbie -5 quests later- YOU'RE NOW OUR GUILD LEADER YAY), story is underwhelming because of the previous point, and combat is a huge huge spammy affair.

    I found Magic to be useful even though I was a warrior. Oakflesh is awesome.

    Yeah, that really dumbed down the story. Also, some characters never stop saying certain lines. E.g. once you've become leader of the thieves guild, the barman in the Ragged Flagon still makes comments about you being a newbie thief.
    Similarly with the Companions, Whiterun guards will make jokes about you being a rookie companion even after you've become leader.

    ok, im not sure if this can really come from honest rating or jes' prejudice because of my roommates, but i'll try to keep it honest ratings.
    1)i agree, the graphics are pretty good
    2)my roommate was in the room almost every second he could be and played skyrim. i didnt leave the room very much because my laptop was in there, and the outlet was right up against the head of my bed, so it sould be very difficult to keep unplugging and plugging it into the slot. smae reason w my dslite. also, im kinda a loner. what i was hearing of the story, it didnt sound to good.
    3)apparently the amount youc an carry is figgered by weight, which i think would get very annoying very quickly

    3) yeah it does. inventory slots would be better in my opinion

    There are ways around it. There are potions, spells and gear that can increase your carry weight.

    i really dont find it that annoying. after getting a house it is better. you can store your stuff there. also i leveled my stamina to be able to carry more. and there are some gear that has perks like more carrying weight. like the thieves guild uniform. i love this game. but there are some really annoying bugs. i can finish certain quests because of these bugs

    ive encountered the oculory bug. it doesnt move at all when i try using frostbite or flames. and the other bug ive seen is golum ei (i think that was its name) shows up as if he were outside of solitude. but once i go outside, the locator thingy shows me to go back into solitude

    So I just bought Skyrim and I'm eager to play. But before I do, are there any big game-breaking glitches that I should know about? I have the XBOX 360 Skyrim but no XBOX Live, (thus I am unable to download the fixes) so I was wondering if you guys could give me a heads-up on some glitches and how to avoid them.

    yes. ive encountered some as you can read in my previous post. i would recommend saving before starting new quests. since some bugs are only fixed by loading some previous save. and autosave sometimes is already to late of a load

    I've had issues with the locator thing, I dont think its a problem.

    theres a game breaking one where you get sent to find esbern (a story character) and he wont open the door, the bug is related to his voice files and on PC the fix is to extract his voice files from the .bsa archive into the data folder.

    So what's the fix for XBOX?

    save everytime you start a new quest or before it. if the bug/glitch shows up, just load. dont just do autosaves. sometimes autosaves are to late of a save to fix the bugs. and there are many more. ive encountered 3. mentioned 2 on the above post

    if the same bug is present on xbox, that won't fix it.

    I didn't extract any files from any .bsa files but I did add these to the skyrim.ini

    Code:
    [Archive]
    sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
    sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa
    yep, finished the main storyline
