it would have to be a powerful handheld
ie, more powerful than the S3, as it would have to be capable of playing games such as HALO 1,2,3...
as well as thier more classic tittles.
it would just cost too much money for both the consumer and the supplier.
Though it would be amazing if they did, i doubt it will happen

I just wanted to add to this......

The things microsoft can do with their repetitive software(s) and the hardware nowadays. Doing a handheld system that can stream, download, and chat through your own account sounds enticing.

Imagine that, you could give it a handy name like a "tablet".

Yeah i get that, but that wouldn't be considered a console. I was thinking more along the lines of x, y, a, b buttons and directional pad/joystick type device.

    Or apparently...

    "Switch".

Switch is more gimmicky than xbox. The hell with nintendo. Xbox can be much simpler.

    In which case...

To Hell with Xbox as PC is Master Race~! :p

And truth be told XBoxes are merely overpowered Gaming PCs anyway.

you mean massively underpowered. The hardware is crap compared to a decent gaming PC, the difference is the OS being stripped down and specialised to the single task of running games on fixed hardware, unlike windows which is a general purpose OS and has to do a lot of different things on a wide variety of hardware, and consequently doesn't do anything as well as an OS designed for a single purpose can.

When it comes to PCs, it takes the lastest specs out of the market.

I like how xbox is modeled after a PC, when i opened it (inside and out). But it's OS can still be upgraded at some point.
