Should the death penalty be applied to murderers of all ages?

Children do not understand consequences. Many murderers grew up on the street or poor families. You people are using the Eye for an Eye consequence. But why do this when it is possible to help the child out or to take him through a special course to fix him. If this does not work then jail for life. Also how would you feel if a child you knew was sentenced to death for a murder he did not commit. What happens if it was your child and he was pleaded guilty when you knew it was not him? Why make a mistake. I would rather let 50 guilty men or children go then let one innocent child or man put to death. This is why the Eye for an Eye was banned

Too many jurisdictions and counties use "blanket laws". Laws that are not case specific, and more importantly, specific to that individual case, and all its facets. The economical situation of the person, their upbringing, and multiple psychological evaluations. Sadly there are people behind bars that, "never stood a chance", even from birth. A child knows when it's not wanted, even if he or she acts happy, they still feel if the parents do not want them. Kids who are "passed over" don't always understand the ramifications of what they do, for they only know hate, as Oathlend said. However, if that person, plotted and carried out the act, it does show they had the mental capacity to both design and commence a clear and strategic plan of attack. That said individual is a danger to society, as should be treated as such.

    Thats what jail is for.

The whole justice of jail is for them to change.

But people are just bloodthirsty and contradictors or there own words

No, i don't agree with any death penalties, because, its too much power, for anyone.
But i do agree with life on prison, after all, (now i am going to be whacked) we can blame ourselves or the system (whatever fits in your mind) for the stupid things a man do (OK now i crossed the line), take for example someone from a poor family, a very simple person, with all the troubles he can stand, he can work until his hands bleeds or he can buy a gun and murder some guys to win more than he would win in a lifetime of hard-work to feed his family. All of this because unfortunately the capitalism needs to get someone down to rise another up, i am not saying that i don't like capitalism, i do but i think there should be a way to keep at least the most poor part to get to enjoy life more. Now some of you will say: (and after what i will say, will still think the same way) "But he had to feed, his family", well i don't know if that counts in death penalty, but he killed the persons on purpose the same way a deficient who has problems reasoning or even a serial killer who has psychological issues due to his nurturing would do. Would you kill this guy? (Oh, now i am condemned to a lifetime of people screaming i am wrong for whatever reason suits them ;D).

    Good night to everyone.

I think capitalism has led to a severe decline in moral values and I hate it for it.
I think life prison is a stupid concept that completely punishes the wrong people. I agree that prison should probably be more of a slave labour camp, but I see no reason why the labourers should be worked to death like someone said.

I always think that a good idea might be to introduce modern technology into the justice system, GPS chips, stuff like that.

(Don't forget to add that this is what I think before every sentence)
There are points where there is strong consideration to properly end someone's life, but the "death penalty" is not that. I think the keyword we need to focus on is "productive", or how to positively duct (or hack) our problems.
