Personnally I find this a waste of space.
    Why would it be good?

The servers are fast and updated for time to time.

And when you are going to work with torrents you need a program to install and more people who are new will have difficulties learning it (yeah there are some dumb people out there)

But meaby we can try and see what it brings. A kind of test project.

I agree with Jonez. It needs space, and the ROM's are already downloadable. It is also a waste of time: Seeking files, Creating .torrent, Uploading.

    The Torrents are slower here.
    Seph knows what I say.

How does it waste space? A torrent file is tiny, I doubt it would even take up 100MB if we created torrent files of everything. Also, it's data, it can be automated, in fact we already have the code to create torrent files of all our files. You are trying to find problems that don't exist.

Yeah I'm seeing it the way Seph is. There's also a lot less stress on the server. Which may mean that it'll cost less to maintain Romulation, thus less premium members will not matter much? (Guess)

    Ya, at your place.
and no need to bold that word.

    What? seeking files, uploading?
You don't understand torrent very well.

    Totally agrees.

Hah, I can't believe that more people are in favour of not having a torrent section. All I do have one thought, torrented files; they will still be Rar'd right? Just want to clear that up before anyone finds yet another reason to say. As what Seph has said seems likely.

One question though...who's gonna seed these torrents?

    All of them?

...I suppose a rule for us user's is to attempt to seed once we have the files we are after :)

There's no doubt torrents are awesome. But why should more free members get more higher download speeds then Premium members? Unless Torrents are for Premium members only, I'm sticking with what I voted....No.

lol you are on the side of premium members
i agree with you that would be nice

    I get what he's saying.
Because premium members PAY to get more points and faster downloads.
So it would be unfair to people who just bought premium membership just before the torrents are uploaded.

yes yes that would be unfair for them
well wouldnt this be better then?

Why on earth are people voting no for?

Read the pages PEOPLE-we would still retain the current download format, with torrents as a bonus for the larger games!

Also if they don't want to use torrents they don't have to.
If they do upload a torrent section they aren't going to get rid of the direct downloads.
