I would say that's very unlikely. Also, if you take a look at the article you posted, you would see two screenshots of Dissidia supposedly being run by JPCSP. And here's what happens when you try loading a clean Dissidia ISO.
Basically, it says the ISO has to be decrypted by a PSP, then the decrypted ISO has to be run in JPCSP. Is there some kind of repository for already decrypted ISO's for the PSP? Or does nobody upload those assuming everybody is using CFW anyways?
There are some decrypted PSP ISOs that are are floating out there, but only for games that require a firmware version 6.00 and up. Dissidia only requires 5.50 firmware, but I don't see any "decrypted" versions of Dissidia as that game doesn't need to be patched in order to run on any custom firmware.
Huh, well, that makes for an interesting conundrum. Not quite sure how one would go about getting decrypted ISO's of earlier releases at this point.
I'm certain some parts (if not, all) of the decryption process is handled by the firmware, as Sony has been developing new firmware to handle the encryption measures on the latest games.
Speaking of PSP Emulators, I still can't find any that run Patapon. Shame on them, they can't run the games with almost flash game style graphics but then they can run games with sixty thousand million things happening at once in 3D.
If you got the clean ISO, just ask someone who own a PSP to decrypt to EBOOT file, and then use UMDGen to replace it with the existing EBOOT file inside the ISO. Well, the first one still have issues but the second one was reported to be fully playable on the latest rev though.
