TM is always good, though the warehouse is the cheapest for new. Was about $120 cheaper than any other store.

The arcade bundle is the Core $399 system package, the one that comes with the arcade games and the 64mb memory card.

Uh, 64MB for saves, you can get your own external harddrive for memory.

Itll be ok for a few games, id recommend getting a 360 with the HD though, yes you can use an external HD for game saves, though its a bitch of a process to format it, or im pretty sure any FAT32 flashdrive will work too, however you cant use an external HD for downloaded live content such as games, demos, videos, game updates, downloadable content and all of the other fun stuff. If you can do without Xbox live then 256 and a flashdrive will be fine, if you intend to go online at all make sure you get a Xbox HD.

That.. sucks balls. The regular 20GB pack is a ripoff (harddrive anyway). So no online stuff for external drives.. *Anandjones slits both of his wrists and goes back to his PS3.

Then a flashdrive or pendrive would suffice for a few games.

how much is a hard drive in nz

Since you're not going to go online, a 80GB harddrive (external) is about $80-90. Worry about it once you have enough money for a 360.

External meaning a portable etc. harddrive that you connect via USB etc. Internal is where it has to be inside your computer etc., you know SATA or IDE etc. drives.

you don't even need to do that. if you don't need game content from live and its media you want, you can just network your 360 with a pc and use a programme like twonky
