Should I buy a 3DS now or wait until later?Or never buy one?

I'd advise you to wait first.
I'll be honest,i always loved Nintendo and almost everything they've done since i was a child. but the 3DS is huge failure for me. i still remember the day when the Nintendo DS was released. and man,i was so excited,as well as millions of other players who are looking for a new gameplay experience.
but with the 3DS i was like meh ... they killed the DS too early for my taste, and the 3DS brings nothing really new,as for the hardware,it's pathetic,it's like they're not even trying ! like if all they care about is making money. the 3D is useless,makes your eyes tired,and consumes too much energy. and mark my words,they're going to make a new version of the 3DS for next year,there's nothing official,but it'll happen (like a new one integrating a second stick...etc, like they did with the DS
so yeah, for me,I'd rather wait until they release more games cause the catalog they have right now is really poor, for my taste,nothing special really.even Monster Hunter 3G is not worth buying the 3DS
(especially since they announced there won't be a possibility to play online)

plus with the arrival of PS vita things might change ...or not
for me the vita seems to be a better game console (which have a MUCH better hardware than the 3DS,and have the same price when the 3DS was released),you can feel that Sony is trying to achieve something and that they had learned from their past mistakes with the PSP which is a very good thing. like the fact that there won't game compatibility problems anymore,you can play Japanese games on an American PS VITA and vice versa. and lots of other interresting features.
the PS VITA is a promessing game console,and it might beat 3DS with all the great features that it got.

so i highly recommend waiting and see how things goes.

I disagree, but I wont go in to detail otherwise I will get people mad here.
My point is:

Better hardware =/= better system

 

don't worry i didn't mean to troll at all. i'm trying to be objective. i'm usually a nintendo maniac xD
but still,you gotta admit that the PS VITA turn thngs upside down,and that besides hardware,it excellents features like the ones i mentionned ^^.

 

I hope the 3DS get it's act together when it's reaches 1 year old and hits it's stride just like the DS did when the DS came out. The DS wasn't worth a buy until a year or so in, I sort of expect the 3DS to be like that.

I don't know about the Vita, I can't say much about it but I sort of expect it to turn out like the PSP for some reason.
