Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey - USA

I tested this, it works fine, well at least the save function. I have a DSTTi, so the patch is compatible with TTMenu as well. Good work finding this KevInChester. I found this on the gbatemp forums as well.

 

I have tried this on my YSMenu R4
It sadly won' save, same as before.

 

Have no idea what a Y menu is or anything like that, all I got is a R4i card, do any of the patches work with a R4i??

 

Just curious,does it fix the "no demon encounter" problem?

 

Just tried this on my DSTT and it still doesn't save just like before.
Sad.

Although maybe I am doing it wrong?
I just copy the 3 .dat files into the TTMenu, right?

 

Yup replace the old ones
Have you tried deleting your SMT:SJ .sav file?

 

I just tried all that myself, and no go on the save issue. I even made sure to delete the matching files first in TTMenu before putting these ones in.

 

Yep, deleted the .sav file and replaced the 3 .dat files with the new ones.
I'm really baffled as to why it is working for others but not me.

 

I haven't tried it myself so I can't really say..
I'm still downloading the rom -.-

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have YSmenu, and getting the update for my r4 would get me nowhere, correct?

 

It couldn't hurt. Some people are reporting success while others aren't.

 

just played for some time, and i've encountered no demons at all exept for the ones you have to fight to save some crewmates. using YSmenu and the "patch" posted a few posts back

 

Has anyone tried on the R4i?

 

and this doesn't help the save thing either. I'm using YSMenu on the original R4, so I don't see how this would work differently for anyone else.

Doesn't work on M3 Simply & YSMenu. What a fail(

 

i've also replaced the files on my M3 simply and it still doesn't work.
